On the sandy shores of the Columbia River covering a 23 hectare area near Castlegar’s downtown core sits the largest most expansive park in the area. Millennium Park incorporates a 900 metre paved walkway, viewpoints with interpretive signs, a unique Natural Ponds Swimming Facility, a three acre bike park which has been hailed the best in the Kootenay region, an off-leash dog park, and pickle ball, tennis, and beach volleyball courts.
